Week 35

 Another week in Ghana has passed.  Monday was spent at and around our apartment working on various projects.  That evening, we had the sister missionaries come over for banana bread and peaches and for a session of "ask the Judd's anything you want."  So, we discussed various gospel and gospel related topics they had questions about.   We drove to the far north zone of Abomosu to attend district council at Kwabeng on Tuesday.  It is a little over 3 hours each way.  When we got back, we drove into Buduburam to get diesel.  The mission has an account with Total Energies gas stations, so we need to get diesel for the truck there.  However, there are not any Total Energies stations on the way to or in Abomosu or Asamankese.  That is why we had to drive into Buduburam for diesel or we would not have enough fuel for Wednesday's trip to Asamankese. Week 34

Last Sunday was very busy, and we did not have time to include that day in the blog last week.  So, last Sunday is where we will start for this post. It was Winneba Stake Conference from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  As we mentioned in our post six months ago after the last stake conference, EVERYONE goes to stake conference--members who rarely come to Sunday branch meetings, investigators, and friends!  The branch rented at least three tro-tro's to carry everyone.  And, the number in each tro-tro is not limited to the seat capacity.  Squeezing in and then sitting on laps is the norm.   Tro-tro getting ready to return home after the conference.  It is still only half full! The Ghanaians love to sing, and the choirs for stake conference are a treat.  The choir members have matching dresses.  And, the dresses for the Saturday adult session were different than those for the Sunday general session, even though they were the same individuals.  Here is...
